I am new to this site.
I am experiencing a major problem with DIMM B1 on my S5520SC board. I have 6 sticks of KTH-PL313K3/4GB - I know this memory is not the approved list but it meets the basic requirements of approved memory devices. I installed the sticks on A1, B1, C1, D1, E1, and F1. BIOS indicates DIMM B1 has failed; however, when I move that stick to A2 or other DIMMs everything works fine. I have two E5540 processors installed on the motherboard. Could DIMM B1 be damaged?
The strange thing is that I had a similar problem with another board made by another vendor.
Can someone provide some help?
