    Slow starter after bios update

Following a bios update on a old Intel board, I now find that because everything is set to default the time tken to boot to windows is slow?

(Because of the circumstances of bios update, couldn't say if any settings not on default)

Is there any advantage of moving any settings.

Board in question is D865 Perl with Extreme Edition 3.2GHz processor. (As per supplied from new)

Bare in mind that any recommended settings would have to be reasoned with me. (Noob!)

      Regards Brian
