I would suggest you clear the cmos battery first(http://www3.intel.com/cd/channel/reseller/emea/eng/membership/411560.htm) then update your BIOS to 4905 (http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=18887&ProdId=3064&lang=eng) via the recovery method (http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-023360.htm) then let us know how you get on and we can take it form there.
One last thing when you installed windows, in what order did you install the drivers?
I have done exactly that. Now on intel screen i get a Bios settings: F2 Bios Flash Update: F7 Boot menu;F10 and Network Boot F12. Before the whole process F2 would appear be itself, so what do I choose? If a dont choose anything it goes to System Setup, What do I change from that menu, if I select exit I get the and save changes - no the following window appears: Turf off power and reinstall the jumper in normal mode position. and I have also done that.
Nevermind the jumper thing, it was in pin 1,2 so i put it in 2, 3. windows is now fast, don't have trouble with visual effects or sounds, thanks a lot! However I still get the unkown device issue. When I was looking for any kind of usb device plugin on device manager it said it was in port 00002, hub 00004, I have no idea where that is, on the dp55kg board there is an internal usb but that corresponds to another hub and port. I've also downloadd a program called unkown device identifier, came up with no data on that device. So please help me get rid of unkwon device.
