We bought a AOC U2777PQU 4k monitor as a second screen to use with a Surface pro 4 laptop. But the graphic driver in the laptop didnot allowed a higher resolution then 1920*1080.
We tried so many cables, tips on this website etc, nothing seemed to worked. But we found the solution our self. We deleted the driver and prevented Windows to update to a newer version (a tip found on a website). The driver turned to a version form 2017 (see screenshot). Now the monitor works as a charm!
So please Intel, dont refer customers to the manufacturer of laptops or monitors, but fix your driver!
