We have configured teaming for two servers. We initially configured a Static LAG. We can't seem to get any throughtput past 1 gigabit on a single transfer. We get the same performance for 1 NIC or a Team of 4 NIC's. I read some information that a Static LAG will max out at the speed of a single NIC per session. I didn't find any information on Dynamic LAG (LACP) that would restrict the single transfer but it performs the same as the Static LAG. We need to increase the single transfer throughput. Is there something we are missing on the configuration or is there another configuration that we can use that will allow higher throughput?

You cannot increase the speed of a single session by teaming the adapters. Link aggregation gives you greater bandwidth because the TCP conversations can be divided up among the ports. The only way to increase the speed will be to use a 10-gigabit adapter.
