Hola.

Gracias

Hi. I have a lantop from the Acer brand and I want to change the damaged micro processor. I have opened the laptop and I do not see that the processor is held by any system or screw. I would like to know how the SR170 (Intel Core i5-4200U) is attached to the motherboard. If it is stuck with a fixative or comes from the factory soldier ...?

Thank you

Your processor is soldered to the motherboard.

For any repair, contact the laptop manufacturer or a reputable service shop and have the motherboard (with processor) replaced, if it is worth the cost and effort.
