Yes, there is an option in the boot options menu for EFI boot.
This doesn't boot the shell, but enables EFI boot in general.
If you get a copy of efi shell binaries (tianocore.org), you can boot to the shell from USB.
I would use the F12? boot menu to do so... it doesn't ever seem to pick any EFI binaries
other than the Windows EFI loader on dvd here.
