      Gigabyte answer:

      Thank you for emailing GIGABYTE.

We are delighted with your interest in our products.

The problem might be related to the new Intel microcode updates. This has influence on the CPU characteristics.

Check with Corsair support, if they have a solution on this.

The Intel specification says DDR4 2666 as max.

      Corsair Answer:

The ram you are using is not listed on the memory modules that gigabyte tested on their motherboard. according to their QVL that you can view from their website. That time you purchased an untested ram means you only have a chance to get the advertised speed of the ram. We strongly recommend getting the ones the motherboard maker tested that way we can be sure that the advertised speeds are met.

We recommend contacting intel about their microcode updates.

      Cheeers!

      The MB QVL does have the DRAM listed but instead of 16 x 2 = 32 they have 8 x 4 = 32

So now im writing here to see if anybody have a solution for this "new Intel microcode updates" or i have to change de DRAM

      hope somebody can help.

      Thanks.
