    Intel DSA 3.5.0.3 not working anymore

      Hi,

       

      My Intel DSA 3.5.0.3 is not working any more.

      When I try to update the following message is displayed immediately: Oops, something went wrong while trying to scan. Please try again, or see our FAQs for help.

       

      Troubleshooting steps taken:

      - Removed DSA and installed it again

      - Removed DSA, removed the directory of DSA in ProgramData and installed it again

       

      I can't seem to get around this error, any tips?

          Thank you for joining this Intel Community.

          I understand that the Intel® DSA does not scan your system. I would like to provide more information about this issue.

          When scanning your system with the Intel® DSA, it is recommended to user other browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Edge or IE v11. You can copy the URL from the browser that did not work and paste it on a different browser. You can also update the browser to the latest version available. Another step you can take is clear any browser cache before scanning your system.

          If these steps do not fix this issue, please provide the following information:

          -Attach an Intel® System Support Utility report to this thread.

          1.Download the Intel® System Support Utility and save the application to your system.
          https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows-?product=91600
          2.Open the application and click Scan to see system and device information. The Intel® System Support Utility defaults to the Summary View on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says summary to change to Detailed View.
          3.To save your scan, click Next and click Save. You can save the file to any accessible location on your computer.

          -Which browsers do you use?
          -Are you going through a proxy to access the Internet?
          -Do you have any browser plug-ins installed?

            Thanks for your response.

             

            I've included the report of Intel SSU.

             

            Browsers I tested:

            • Firefox 61.0.2
            • Vivaldi 1.15.1147.64
            • Google Chrome 68.0.3440.106
            • IE 11.228.17134.0 (Update version 11.0.80)
            • Microsoft Edge 42.17134.1.0

             

            I'm not using a proxy and only Google Chrome has plugins enabled in the browser.

            DSA has been working for the last 4 months.

              I would like to know if you followed these steps when uninstalling the Intel® DSA:

              Control Panel->Programs->Uninstall a Program process:

              -Click Start.
              -Open Control Panel.
              -Select Programs.
              -Select Programs and Features.
              -From the list that displays, click Intel® Driver & Support Assistant.
              -Click Uninstall.
              -A new window opens that offers to uninstall the program.
              -Then, choose Intel® Computing Improvement Program and uninstall it.

              2. Try reinstalling directly from Download Center https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24345

              If you already tried these steps, please provide the following information:

              Log files: C:\ProgramData\Intel\DSA.

                Were you able to fix the issue reported with the Intel® DSA?

                  Hi Wanner,

                   

                  Sorry for the late response.

                  The problem isn't solved yet.

                  I included the logs in this message (I stopped the DSA service before creating the zip file).

                          If you are experiencing issues running the Intel® DSA scan, please try updating to the newest version by following the steps recommended at the beginning:

                          1. Control Panel->Programs->Uninstall a Program process:

                          -Open Control Panel.
                          -Select Programs.
                          -Select Programs and Features.
                          -From the list that displays, click Intel® Driver & Support Assistant.
                          -Click Uninstall.
                          -Then, choose Intel® Computing Improvement Program and uninstall it.

                          2.Try reinstalling the tool directly from Download Center https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24345

                          Please provide the following information to continue troubleshooting this issue:

                          -The browser(s), and versions, you are using.
                          -Do you have any browser plug-ins (ad blocking or script blocking)?
                          -Do you have any security or anti-virus software installed? Which one?
                          -Are you on a company network?
                          -Do you have any proxy settings set on your computer?
