Can't play 4k disk because I am missing Intel SGX?

I recently purchased an external 4k blu ray drive, and when I try to play a 4k disk on it, the cyberlink powerdvd program that I have says I need to have Intel SGX installed, and that I can get it from updating my computer. My computer is fully up to date, but it still shows this issue. Every time I try to look up Intel SGX I get directed to pages about program/app development. I know my computer can play 4k content normally since my resolution is set to that and the option is available on YouTube and whatnot. I do not understand what I am missing to play this disk.
