              Hello RON18,

              Thank you for your response.

What we can do in this case is to try a clean installation of the Intel ® Driver & Support Assistant. In order to do so, we need to first remove the existing one from the system and make sure that there are no temporary files, please follow the steps below:

              1 - Go to settings > apps.
2 - Search for "driver" which should show the Intel ® Driver & Support Assistant if it is installed.
3 - Uninstall it and reboot.
4 - Press the Windows* key and R key simultaneously to open the run box.
5 - Type in: cleanmgr.exe and press the Enter key or OK.
6 - Place a check mark next to Temporary Files. You can leave everything else checked or unchecked.
7 - Press OK and wait.

Once down with this, reboot the system once more and then go to the link below in order to download the latest version of Intel ® Driver & Support Assistant:

              https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html

Run the installation and see if it goes through without any problem, if not then please let me know the outcome.

                                Hello RON18,

                                Thank you for your response.

I can see that you were able to bypass the problem. However, I had not been able to confirm whether you were able to fully install the tool or not.

                                Please let me know.

                                Regards,
                                David V
