ha anyone figured out how to get around the windows 7 compatibility problem with the 7th generation processors. I realy don't want to have to go to windows 10 just because I upgraded my system.

Only Windows 10 is supported on 7th gen and later processors. This has been known for two years now, and it is time for users to accept that fact.
There is no support for Windows 7. If you want to run Windows 7, install Windows 10 pro, turn on Hyper-v, and install windows 7 as a virtual machine.
