I have problem with Intel DP55KG (BIOS KGIBX10J.86A) motherboard in new PC. I installed Win 7 x64 and then installed network driver 15.1, but it doesn't work. I also tried 14.8 and 14.7 without success. Fortunately, 14.6 driver does work.
But my main problem is that Windows is booting very slowly (40 sec - 100 sec) with any network driver. When I unistalled network driver, boot took only 10 sec. I did this several times, so I'm 100% sure this is network driver problem (and I can see it in Event Log, event "Intel(R) 82578DC Gigabit Network Connection Network link has been established at 1Gbps full duplex." blocks computer for at least 30 seconds)
I hoped this would solve new driver and I found some thread here, in which Intel engineer says the 15.2 driver will be released "soon", but he said that in February and now is late April.
Does anybody here have same problem or workaround for this?
