Fortnite stuttering frequently on latest driver

      Answers (N/A if not applicable)

Provide a detailed description of the issue

Fortnite stutters frequently in game especially while in high combat situations. (Ex. 50v50 when everyone is in the small circle battling it out) This issue seems to happen randomly (however occurs way more frequently in combat as mentioned above). In some severe cases, the game can freeze for several seconds.

Interestingly, the issue does NOT occur in a very very old version of the driver from 2016. This version is This was obtained from Acer's website and is labeled "VGA Driver (Kabylake)" on their website here. On this driver, the game only stutters after loading into a match and/or after jumping from the battle bus. Not during combat or gameplay after landing.

Please place an X to the right of the option showing how often you see this issue using specific steps. (Ex: 'Every few times a game is started it flickers.' <- This would be "Often")

      How to repro

Please provide steps to replicate the issue.  These steps are very crucial to finding the root cause and fix.
A screenshot to illustrate the issue is a huge plus. A video of the failure is even better! Attach to the post or provide the YouTube link.

      1. Launch Fortnite from the Epic Games Launcher.

      2. Go into any game mode (50v50 has the most stuttering)

      3. Play around for a bit and it'll just stutter randomly. (especially in 50v50 when many people are in the small circle battling).

All my settings were at the lowest with vsync and motion blur off. The internal resolution slider was at around 960x540. The game runs very well apart from the stuttering and runs at a decent framerate (about 35-70fps).
