Thank you for your interest in the Intel Aero drone.
You can find instructions in the link below:
Let me know if you have further questions.
Yes, I have followed the instructions in the link above. However, I can't connect the flight controller to QGC via USB.
By the way, I have seen the issue: QGroundControl and Battery Calibration, one of your workmates replied as follow:
"QGroundControl is a general purpose platform, that means it was not specifically designed for the Aero, and some of their features may not be available. The battery calibration feature is one of them."
So,I want to know if the ESC calibration is one of the features that may not be available.
You are correct. It was a misunderstanding from my side, I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
As stated here http://ardupilot.org/copter/docs/common-intel-aero-rtf.html the ESC calibration is indeed not required for the Intel Aero drone.
At the end of the guide I shared previously, it says "High-quality controllers come with a factory calibration. In theory this means that they can be configured by just setting the PWM_MIN and PWM_MAX parameters to the values provided in the ESC technical specification. In practice the input range may differ even on high quality controllers, which is why calibration is recommended."
You can search for these parameters and see their values in QGroundControl as shown in the picture attached. Those are the default values, according to the parameter reference:
I hope this helps.
