Hello,

I have a intel5100 and I connect an antenna to Aux conector disconecting de Main antenna (incorporated laptop antenna) and when I try to connect with my AP, can´t connect, I tried in windows7 and Linux and didn´t work anywhere.

I have the latest drivers and I don´t found any option to select the preferred antenna, what I can do?

The aux is auxiliary connector, I think you should connect the antenna to the Main connector.

No because I like connect the antenna only when I have poor signal, when I was in a place where are good signal I don´t like connect it because it´s not necesary and if I connect the pigtail to the main the laptop don´t connect with the aux (internal laptop antenna connect to the aux).

Hi. You have to connect both main and aux attenas to your laptops antennas in order to acheive expected and normal behavior from Intel adapter. There are no work arounds for this case.
