Hi folks,
I am looking to detect if there is motion in the frame to assist in object avoidance of a moving robot.
That is, the camera is on a moving platform, but I would also like to detect if there are other moving objects that enter the frame so the moving robot can avoid them.
Could someone please point me to a good source to learn more about implementing this?
Thanks!

A few years ago there was a RealSense project called SAW (Spatial Areness Wearable), where a person wore vibrating pads on their body. When the camera saw an obstacle approaching a particular area of the body, it would vibrate the relevant vibrator pad to let the wearer know that the body area was about to collide with something.

That's great news. I'm very pleased that SAW will be of help to you. Please feel free to return to the forum any time that you have questions about your project. Have a great weekend!
