    nltk error

    anirbunt

I could import nltk in the terminal.but when i tried to import the same in ipynb/notebook file,it's giving an error.

I tried all possible kernels in the jupyter notebook, but all of them resulted the same.

          Hi Anirudh,

Thanks for reaching out to us.
Did you create a conda environment for installing nltk.
If so, you need to select that particular kernel to import nltk.

These are the steps to be followed:
          source activate <env_name>
          conda install ipykernel
ipython kernel install --name <env_name> --user

After this, launch your python code from hub.colfaxresearch.com and
Select Kernel --> Change Kernel --><env_name>

          Regards

Thanks for your quick response. It worked!!

I didn't install ipython kernel earlier.

But a new issue now:  I couldn't use any other library using this kernel.so am I supposed to reinstall libs like numpy ,pandas once again in this env

              Thanks for the confirmation.
Yes. You need to install those libraries in your conda environment.
