We have a question about how calculated the processing speed of a microprocessor. According with my understanding "the processing speed of a Microprocessor is = FSB speed X bus/core radio" is that correct? For example if we have the M740 that has a clock speed of 1.73GHZ, bus/core radio = 13 and FSB speed of 533Mhz, is that correct to say that the processing speed is (533*13)=6929Mhz?
If above is correct, where can we get official statement of that.

Basically it would be the FSB (Front Side Bus) divided by 4 (due to the Quad pumping communication signaling, also described on the same site) and this multiplied by the processor's multiplier. In example, (533/4)x13= 1732.25Mhz
