Have you tested the system with a different display and cable?
I am attaching what you asked.
I have not tried with other monitor or cable because of 2 reasons: 1.this ONLY happens in full screen videos; 2.this cable and projector(monitor) that I use, are the same from my last pc, with which I had no problems.
Alright, so, today I received my new super potent hdmi 2.0a 4k cable and, although it is much better quality cable than the one I used before, the problem has not gone away.
ONLY when in full screen video, I have a difference / a change in contrast/brightness for darker scenes, especially.
BUT, I tried to capture it with PrintScreen and the image seemed ok on the copy, so I checked again the projector settings and, it seems that the projector has a setting called LumiSense+, which was activated and THIS was the problem.
I had this setting activated before on the previous PC, but that one did not make a difference between full screen and not full screen.
So, the problem was fixed, it was NOT the Nuc's problem or the video card, but it seems that the better video card challenged more the LumiSense setting of the projector.
All in all, I got myself a much better HDMI cable .
Appreciate all the help I got from here. Thanks.
Hope this will help others that may have a similar problem.
