I'm just curious but why is the IHS no longer soldered on chips like the 4770K, 6700K, 7700K etc....? It's been proven time and time again that a soldered IHS lowers temperatures by quite a huge margin and is far superior to using the toothpaste that the Intel assembly line use.
Surely it cannot be that much more expensive, If AMD can do it wit their Ryzen chips then Intel who have a lot more money can do it with their chips.
