Costum heatsink design for Intel Realsense D435. Static or Dynamic heat dissipation?

Hello,

I'm currently designing a housing with an Intel realsense D435 inside. The 3D camera will be mounted on a 2mm thick aluminium sheet metal plate with thermal paste.

My question is: Does the Intel Realsense D435 has a static or dynamic heat dissipation? (does it generate heat on a constant level or does it have burst (peaks) with high temperatures and then back to low again?)

Feel free to answer!

Kind regards,

Page 82 of the data sheet linked to below describes the design guidelines for making a heat sink for the 400 Series cameras.

RealSense cameras traditionally use passive solutions such as fins and heat spreaders.

I would expect internal temperature to vary based on the amount of power that the laser is using.
