How can I overclock my Xeon e5620 with my Fujitsu 2778-c1 Motherboard?

    Tom4air

      Hey guys,

recently I bought a 1366 Board for my Xeon e5620. It is running on my Fujitsu d-2778-c1 board but somehow there are njo overclocking methods in my bios. The Intel   Extreme Utility doesn´t work as well. What am I doing wrong?

      Best regards

      Marc

          Hello Tom4air,

Thank you for joining the Intel Community Support.

Even though overclocking is available on eligible processors such as Processors with K letter in their name and the Intel® Core™ X-series Processors, we highly recommend you to contact your motherboard manufacturer to find out whether that option can be implemented on BIOS.

Also, keep in mind that the Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility v6.4 only supports 8th Gen Intel® Core Processor Family, which means that it is not supported on Server based platforms.

We appreciate your interest on getting the most out of the features available for overclocking.
