NUC7i7BNH Thunderbolt 3 on Linux & external NVIDIA 1080 GTX

I have connected an external Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1080 (Link: GeForce® GTX 1080 G1 Gaming 8G | Grafikkarten - GIGABYTE Germany) to NUC7i7BNH with Thunderbolt. On Windows 10 everything works fine but on Linux Mint 18 i have no idea how to install Thunderbolt driver or NVIDIA driver.

      Can someone assist me please?

      Thank you!

          Hello, Agustav.

Thank you very much for taking the time to reach the Intel Communities Team.

Please find in this link the list of the supported Operating System for your NUC. The Linux* Mint is not supported for your unit furthermore, in the Customer-reported operating systems this NUC has not being tested with this OS. We have tested this Operating System on the NUC but just the basic functions.
I recommend you to follow the steps provided in this link for you to fix the theThunderbolt™ issue and get in touch with NVIDIA® in order to get the drivers for your Operating System.
