Thanks for writing. Please notice that Miracast* is a standard used by the the operating system, but it is not an Intel product. However, we can confirm that Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 complies with the Wi-Fi Alliance "Wi-Fi Direct* for peer to peer" protocol implemented by Miracast*.
As a general recommendation, you may test the following:
- Perform a clean installation of the wireless driver.
- Update the graphics/display drivers.
- Disconnect the laptop from docks, external displays and Ethernet cables.
EDIT: It is also important that you confirm if the screen/TV you want to project to is compatible with Miracast* and your OS.
