    Object detection using Intel RealSense R200




      I'm using the Intel Aero Ready to Fly drone with R200 included. I'm a newbie and I'm wondering how i can determine the distance to the closest object? I already installed pyrealsense and there are a lot of usefull commandos but I don't figure out what the best way is to determine these distance? I would think of taking a RGBD frame with the camera and looking at the depth pixels. The depth pixel with the smallest value is the closest. And then using a threshold like 1 meter to have a box approximation for the object?
