Your sony does not have an intel motherboard product. It does have an intel chipset (pm45) and an Intel processor.
Before you can do any upgrade, you need to ask sony what processors are compatible with their bios. Then, you can select from those processors.
An upgrade processor must be socket, chipset, and bios compatible.
And, that is only possible if the processor is not soldered to the motherboard (bga socket). Yours may be.
Regarding going from ddr2 to ddr3, you cannot do this.
Rather than trying to squeeze some life out of your ten year old machine, discard it and upgrade to a new or newer machine that is supported.
And, if your intentions for this upgrade was for Windows 10, none of the hardware is supported on Windows 10.
