Thank you very much for taking the time to reach the Intel® Communities Team.
For me to assist you further, can you attach a screenshot of the software you are using when this specification is red measured? If you do not mind, I would like to have an image of your BIOS processor's section.
Additionally, can you run the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool? Please share the results of this test.
I have attached an image of the Datasheet of the Intel® Core™ i5-7400 where the minimum and maximum of Vcore is shown. The range is from 0.55 to 1.52 so your processor is not overvolted. As you could see, by running the IPDT your processor is healthy. There might be a problem with the software used to measure this.
Please find a link to this document below, you can find this chart on page 114, section 220.127.116.11, table 7-2:
Hi Anthony S.,
Thank you very much. I had been trying to download the data sheet from the Intel website, but the download somehow always froze.
The portion of the data sheet that you attached eases my mind about my processor. The ASUS Ai Suite 3 measurement checked against the chart tells me indeed that my processor is functioning normally. It was the RED color of the measurement that worried me because RED usually means something is wrong.
Again, thank you very much.
