HD Graphics 620 - max resolution with multiple monitors

Hi I'm using the HD 620 on a i7 6500. I can see its maximum resolution is slightly above 4K spec but I'd like to use a 4K monitor and a HD monitor (1920 x 1080), one from DP and one from HDMI on a docking station. The hardware specs list maximum resolution for both these ports separately but I've also seen articles saying the quoted resolution is a total for all monitors attached. Do anyone know definitively if the quoted resolution (4096 x 2304) is the total for all combined displays?

Thanks

Rob

No, it's not. It is maximum resolution supported by Intel HD Graphics 620. In your case, provided you are using all displays independently (i.e. no two monitors are displaying same thing), each monitor can run at its own maximum resolution.

Hope this helps,
