Installation of 256GB 2.5" SSD

I was unable to install the above SSD. The device did not trigger the installation of device drivers.

It does appear as a shadow in the Control Panel. But not as an alphabetized drive. The computer is an HP Pavilion Touchsmart 11.

Does any one have any suggestions ?

So far, I have successfully installed 500 GB SSDs from Samsung, and from Western Digital, in HP and Dell laptops computers.

I understand that your system is not detecting your SSD.

You mention the following: "I was unable to install the above SSD". Although, the description above reads: "Installation of 256GB 2.5" SSD", could you please provide further details regarding the specific Intel® SSD that you are trying to install.

Have you successfully installed another SSD in that specific laptop? Have you tested that specific SSD in another system just to make sure that the SSD is working as expected?
