Thanks for being part of our community. We understand your Intel® SSD P4600 Series is showing a solid red LED and data can't be read/written.
Just for testing, can you move the SSD to a different PCIe slot or install it on a different system altogether?
Also, is the drive visible by the OS in any way? We recommend to check the drive status using Intel® SSD Data Center Tool.
I tried the SSD in 3 different PCs and it shows issues in all of them.
Ubuntu 17.10: lspci shows the device correctly. But can't read/write. LEDs in solid red and amber.
Windows 8 and Windows 10: Device Manager shows it's a Standard NVM Express Controller, but reports "This device cannot start (Code 10)". LEDs in solid red and green.
Then I tried your SSD Data Center Tool. "isdct show -intelssd" shows: No results.
