Motorola Android BackFlip (MB300) experiences "USB Device Not Recognized" error when connected to Intel ICH8 Family Enhanced Host Controller 2836/283A USB2 port (Driver Date: 06/21/2006, Version: 6.1.7600.16385), but IS recognized by Intel 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller 3B34/3B3C (using EXACT same driver) (It is also seen as far back as 82801DB/DBM USB 2.0 (Driver Date: 06/01/2002, Version: 5.1.2600.0). Has anyone experienced and discovered a fix/workaround? Problem occurs on both Windows Vista, as well as Windows 7, so OS is ruled out. (ICH8 sees other devices such as iPod just fine).

I have isolated the problem down to the P965 chipset driver. Driver 6.1.7600.16385 dated 6/21/2006, cannot talk to the BackFlip Android (Motorola MB300). The MB300 is recognized by other chipsets (Series 5) using the same, exact driver. However, the MB300 IS recognized by the 82801DB chipset using a different driver, and it is recognized by Puppy Live Linux just fine. I have attempted MANY permutations with different computers and OS's, and feel VERY confident that it is a driver compatibility issue, only. Hello! Hello! Intel?? Does anyone read these?

I have been getting this error while trying to use my built-in webcamera with Camera Assistance Software that came with my Toshiba Satellite laptop. I called Toshiba and they said to reset my BIOS but that did not help at all! Intel has a defect and we have to pay for technical support? I mean the camera is built-in the monitor, it is not connected via USB, but the error pops up and shuts down the video on my web camera..
