I understand you are not able to set 60Hz when connecting your laptop to your Samsung 2233rz monitor. I will be more than glad to assist you further.
In this case, in order to help you better, I would like to gather more information about the configuration you have on the computer. Please attach to this thread the TXT file the Intel® System Support Utility will generate: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility
To attach a file, you must click the “Attach” option on the bottom right-hand corner of the response box.
Furthermore, just to make sure, I would like you to verify which graphics controller is displayed in Device Manager > Display adapters. Please let me know if the drop-down only shows the Intel® HD Graphics, the NVIDIA® or both of them.
