How can I change my resolution from 1920x1080 to 4k?

Just bought a 4k TV. I'm trying to set it up to show 4k from my PC through HDMI port, but Intel HD graphics control panel display settings offers no option above 1920x1080. In options and support/information center it shows a list of resolutions and refresh rates supported by the display selected in the list menu. How can I get the option to change my resolution to 4096x2160 or even 3840x2160?
