Hello!

I have a Asus Z370P motherboard (latest bios) with an Intel i5 8400 installed in it running windows 10 professional. This system is connected to an Samsung 22E391H. When i tried to install graphic driver from Asus or Intel, screen becomes black. If i uninstalling the driver in safe mode, monitor work. I tried connect another monitor, and it's work.

Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I speak english not so good, sorry about that:)

Hello, Petska.

Thank you very much for contacting the Intel® Communities Team.

I understand you are facing some difficulties when installing the Intel® HD Graphics drivers for your processor. Allow me to help you regarding this issue you are facing.

I would like to know which type of cable are you using to connect the motherboard to the display and if you are using any type of dongle. In addition, what are the resolution and the refresh rate you have set on it before the installation of the drivers?

Also, when connecting your system to another monitor, which type of cable are you using? And, what is the mode set on it? I would like to know if when you update the drivers using another monitor you have the same issue. Additionally, can I have the model of the other monitor tested?

I used HDMI cable to connect, without any dongle. When the screen became black, I have installed TeamViewer with a safe mode, connected to computer and then tried to set all the options of resolution and refresh rate in drivers utilite, but nothing happend.

Another monitor i connected like a first, with HDMI. Actually, the second monitor is a TV, but, i can't say which model right now, sorry. But, yesterday, i bring computer to service, and its worked with the third monitor too. In both cases, it starts to work instantly.

Oh, a tried also connect first monitor with HDMI-DVI dongle, like on the picture, with the same result.

Hello!

I configured 1920x1080, and after installing the drivers i tried 800x600, 1280x720, 1280x1024 and 1680x1050.

At this moment, I install old graphic card GT 730 into a computer, but, if it neccessary, i can remove it, and generate new configuration file.

Hello, Petska.

Let's try this other method:

Download and install your http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.com/downloadfile/ContentsFile.aspx?CDSite=UNI_LATIN_EN&CttFileID=5937060&CDCttType=DR&ModelType=N&ModelName=S22E391H&VPath=DR/201501/20150102134621794/S22E391H.exe&OriginYN=N monitor's drivers.

Then, install once again the Intel® Graphics drivers by clicking https://downloadmirror.intel.com/27484/a08/win64_15.65.3.4944.zip here. Then, to complete the installation by following this guide: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005629.html https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005629.html

Once the installation finishes, if the problem persists press Ctrl+Alt+F8 to restore the graphics back to default.
