Thank you very much for taking the time to reach the Intel® Communities Team. It is really good to hear you are happy with your Intel® NUCs.
I understand you are facing some issues with your NUC since it randomly gets no sound. Allow me to help you regarding this issue you are facing.
I would highly recommend performing a BIOS update, in order for you to achieve so, please download the latest BIOS version by clicking here.
Then to complete the installation please follow the steps listed on the following link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005850/mini-pcs.html
I addition, I recommend you to go to the Intel® Download Center, on the search bar type the model of your NUC and then filter the search by your Operating System and update the Graphics and Sound drivers.
Regarding your question about the changelog for all the BIOS revisions please click here so you will be able to check the Release Notes of the latest BIOS Version 0060; you can find in this document the change log. For future references, for every new BIOS version is updated you will find the Release Notes PDF on the Release Notes section on the Intel® Download Center. Thanks a lot for your help Antony,
I read all of the changelog fixes on the link provided but I couldnt see anything about HDMI / Audio fixes, but I guess that there's many undocumented tweaks, updates and fixes in there too, i'm gonna try and update to the latest BIOS (0060) as advised, I downloaded the 0061 a few days ago but it got removed for now. I'll update this topic whatever it fixes my issue with audio or not, thanks again!
