This news clip about Intel's Spectre patch causing so many issues for people, companies.. its hard to imagine how much this is costing everyone.. for Intel's screwup.. and how much of a hit to their stock price.. how can a company as respected as Intel make such a huge mistake?
I just bought a new motherboard, 32 Gb of memory and a processor upgrade to the new Kabby Lake i7, water cooler, m.2 drive.. I did a fresh installation of Windows 10, reinstalled every driver and its latest update (as of 1-15-2018) my PC is slower than it was before. Applications that were flawlessly able to stream, game play.. were now bogging down.. Using a System monitor my i5 its cores were maxing out @ 95-100% allot.. unreal how much I have lost due to productive rates being 1/4-1/3 slower.. Who is going to compensate me for this productivity loss and cost of these new parts that is likely I did not need to purchase these items. I need Intel to make good on this. I am sure there is others like myself who have attempted to correct a serious performance issue. Intel needs to reimburse me.
