System files were corrupted due to a Trojan. The system would boot but nothing (no programs - nothing) would work. So, I'm trying a repair install of Windows XP pro but it keeps hanging at 33 minutes. Which is where it should be loading drivers - but it won't finish.

In the BIOS I've disabled the onboard lan, and the audio and turned on the PLP but still no joy.

Anyone got a clue? I'm stuck and this is beginning to really piss me off. I need to get back to work.

I've checked the Plplog.text and it indicated some issue with the audio. That was the only entry in that log.
