1440p monitor not recognized by HD 630 graphics

      Hello folks,

I built a new PC over the holiday break with an ASROCK H270M-ITX/ac motherboard and an i5-7500 CPU with Intel 630 graphics.

I have a QHD monitor (2560 x 1440) that uses a DVI-D connection and when I start the PC I get test patterns on the monitor (flashing red, green, blue, and white-line patterns), then it just goes dark.  The PC does display correctly on a standard 1080p TV, but just not this monitor.

I have tried everything I can think of including:

      • Installing the latest ASROCK VGA drivers (and even some beta versions)
      • Installing the INF chipset driver
      • Plugging the monitor into all three ports of the motherboard (it has two HDMI ports and a DVI port).  I'm using a HDMI to DVI adapter when I'm connecting to HDMI on the motherboard.
      • Installed various versions of the Intel HD graphics drivers
      • If I go into the Intel graphics control panel and select extended desktop, the monitor is selectable (so it's recognized to some extent, but after I apply settings for extended desktop, the monitor stays dark).

Attached are the reports from the control panel and also the System Support Utility report.  I've been troubleshooting this for days but am at a loss.  This monitor works great with my previous PC build, so I know it's a not a bad monitor.

      Greatly appreciate any thoughts!
