Are you running the latest version of the Intel HD Graphics driver for your NUC? Or has Windows Update installed a later, unvalidated version?
No all drivers freshly installed
What memory do you have installed? What monitor(s) do you have connected? Include part numbers please.
Memory is 2x 4Gb Kingston KVR16LS11/4 modules which are on the supported list and the nuc is
for entertainment only and is connected to to Teac 50" LE50A1FHD tv via hdmi .
With what kind of HDMI cable? Have you tried using other HDMI inputs on the TV?
Just tried another hdmi port with a better effect plays a frame 10 seconds or so.
This only happens with microsoft movies & Tv app downloaded movies everything else plays fine but the movies
will play with generic graphics driver.
I've only got one Hdmi cable which I have had for years so I'll buy a new one (known name brand) and get back to you.
Thanks for the help.
I suggest you get one that is complaint with the HDMI 2.0b standard; that will cover you for full 4K UHD with HDR support. You might even want to check for one that is compliant with the new HDMI 2.0c or even 2.1 standards. I bought some that covered HDMI 2.0b for essentially the same price as older HDMI 1.4 cables.
Just bought a linden hdmi cable 4k 27gbs gold contacts about 40$ au.
The video started playing for about 10 seconds and threw up an error that it can't play 0xc00d6d60 code.
I'll get on to microsoft with that error code and see what that is.
Might be more to do with digital rights or some sort of codec woe.
I'll let you know.
