i7-7700K only has 7 logical cores

I purchased an I7-7700k earlier this year. It started out working as expected. Then one day I received an error from my CPU monitor that it did not recognize the model of CPU. When I looked into it I noticed that one of my logical cores were not showing up in task manager. I then ran the Intel Diagnostic Tool all tests passed and this is what the tool reported for my CPU.

Please help me figure out why my CPU is acting this way.

System Specs:

I7-7700K

Asus Z-170 Sabertooth Motherboard

Gigabyte 1070 Extream

If you have not updated your bios, you should do that first.
