I have two Edison Boards and I can't effectively communicate with either. When plugging one into my computer and opening the device manager and navigating to ports the USB serial port (com#) comes up but nothing else does. When I use the other Edison with the same computer the virtual com port and usb composite device options come up, but no serial port. How is this possible. I have manually installed all the necessary drivers and been able to successfully flash both boards. I can't get either board to work through putty (no surprise for the board without a working serial connection). Any help would be appreciated.
