Intel® Processor Identification Utility v5.8, does it work?

      Hi all,

so on an older system of intel mbo DP35DP, got it booted up with X3360 & installed Windows OS on it. No problems, even without that driver (Intel® Processor Identification Utility). But as the current is expensive, decided to get myself some Q9550S, didn't work before the installation of Intel® Processor Identification Utility v5.8.

So I've installed it, while working on X3360. Nothing changed on OS, everything stayed the same. I was hoping that Intel® Processor Identification Utility v5.8 would update the microcodes drivers for Q9550S (as it's on the list of processors) in Windows 10 OS - it didn't. So even know with Intel® Processor Identification Utility v5.8 installed, Windows 10 can't boot.

Does actually Intel® Processor Identification Utility v5.8 do anything to update the OS?

Does anybody knows a solution? Will Intel going to make a driver inside Intel® Processor Identification Utility next versions? Can we please have it updated correctly?
