Thank you for reaching the Intel communities.
I understand that you would like to play some games on the system, and we can certainly check if that is doable.
Would you please provide the following information?
- Which are the games affected? Please provide names
- Attach the Intel(R) SSU report to your answer to get your system's specs
How to get the Intel(R) SSU?

Thank You for your help.
Would you please test the system with the windows update removed and report back to us?
If still not able to remove it, you can reach Microsoft's support team to get it done.
So, I remove the update and with the 2017 so the last driver it's work fine but after that I install the 1709 update and I have the vertical line in game but I uninstall the 2017 driver and I restart and my computer (Hp) install automatically the 2016 driver who are not valid on the Intel.com because the 2016 driver are for windows 8.1 and 7 so with this driver my games work fines but I prefere the 2017 driver for the performance but I can wait for a new driver.
Thank you for reporting back to us.
I will further investigate this scenario and get back to you at the soonest.
At this point, we can continue to use the current driver and windows version installed that work with your games.
