    USB SD Card is not recognized by windows 10 (NUC5i5RYH)

      Hi there,

       

      I just happened to have a problem with my usb sd card reader, so whenever I plug in the usb it's just notifying me that the usb is not being recognized by the system. I have updated each drive in my computer,  I also have updated the BIOS, still however, nothing has changed much. So is there any way that I can make my computer recognize the SD card, since the the USB is working perfectly fine it's just the SD card isn't detected.

          • What is the brand and model of the SD card reader used?
          • Please attach the Intel(R) SSU report to your answer (check data below)
          • Have you tested the SD Card reader with other USB ports?
          • Have you tested the SD card reader with other computers?
          • Can you confirm if other USB devices work with the system?
          • Do you happen to remember which were the drivers installed?
          How to get Intel(R) SSU report?
          1. Download the tool: http://intel.ly/2pQj9Kk
          2. Run, and scan the system
          3. Save the report
          4. Attach it to your answer (the file)
