    Thunderbolt 3 & Windows Server Essentials 2016

Hi I'd like to re-iterate this issue (Thunderbolt driver not allowed in Windows Server 2012 R2 or 2016 ) here; wondering if there's a future fix. I'm running Windows Server Essentials 2016 on a Fatal1ty Z270 Gaming-ITX/ac mobo, 32GB RAM, i7 7700K processor. In Windows 10 pro on the same machine, Thunderbolt 3 works perfectly. However in trying to install the driver after installing server essentials 2016, it fails with the warning that it's not supported for "this Windows release." Can you guys turn the driver install on for Windows Server Essentials 2016? Would be helpful. I'm trying to connect to HighPoint RocketStor 6114V. It works fine at USB 3.0 speeds. The USB 3.0 extensible host Intel driver loads fine in Windows 2016. But the thunderbolt 3 driver of course does not. Interestingly however, the Thunderbolt port on the mobo is active; but at the lesser speed of course.
