Good Day Intel Community!

I'm about to order SR300 in the click store, a couple of Days ago i can add it to cart. I just wondered that when I'm about to checkout today, i found iut that UAE is not on the list of countries that they do shipping.

I don't know why, before i can calculate all the shipping fees here in Dubai but now they removed UAE to the list.

Does anyone knows why.

Thank you very much.

It would be odd if the SR300 did not ship to UAE, since the store listings for the R200 and ZR300 have UAE on their shipping country list. I recommend contacting mailto:click@intel.com click@intel.com to ask about it.

I recalled a previous case where somebody asked about shipping to UAE, and I provided the shipping list. UAE was on the list at that time.

If Click cannot ship a SR300 to UAE, then you may be able to purchase an SR300-compatible camera such as Creative BlasterX Senz3D (Creative manufacture the SR300 too for Intel) or the Razer Stargazer.

Unfortunately, it is hard to find a supplier who stocks them in the UAE or can ship them there. After turning the internet upside down, I did find a UAE stockist who lists Creative BlasterX Senz3D as being in stock though.

Is it the same as Intel real Sense SR300 in which we can use it for Jewelry Scanning?

Both the BlasterX Senz3D and Razer Stargazer work the same as an Intel SR300 and work with the RealSense SDK. They are just sold under Creative and Razer's own brand name.

Which is the latest among the two when it comes to technology, BlasterX Senz3D or Razer Stargazer?

Does it have its own software for 3D scanning like the SR300?

They came out around the same time and do not have their own special software, because they are just SR300 cameras, so they should work with any program that supports the SR300.

Sir MartyG i found the link in ebay about the SR300 camera, i just want to know if this is legit or not?

Does intel SR300 distributed to other sellers or you can buy it only at click store? This one from ebay is shipping to UAE. Thank you.

Whilst purchasing from the Click store is always the preferred option, it is not against the rules to purchase the camera from another source. If you are not buying direct from Intel, they recommend buying from a company that is an Intel Approved Distributor.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/emerging-technologies/intel-realsense-technology/000023505.html Refund Process for Intel® RealSense™ Developer Kits

In the case of eBay, as long as the product is new and factory sealed, you should be okay. You would have to return the camera to the eBay seller if it had a problem though, and they do not have to honor the 90 day warranty. In the case of this particular seller that you linked to, they just copy and pasted the description from Intel's Click store entry for the SR300 into their eBay listing, which makes the listing misleading as it promises that the Click store will refund or replace the camera. This is not the case if you purchased the camera from an eBay seller.

So whilst it is not illegal to buy the camera from eBay, there is risk in doing so as you will likely not get a refund or replacement if the camera has a problem.

Thank you very much for the helpful advice, I will wait for the official response of intel support team for this matter before doing the plan B of purchasing to other shops.

Hi E-bling,

I was looking at this thread, I would like to let you know that unfortunately, Click cannot ship the SR300 camera to UAE, so I recommend you to contact Mouser,

http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Intel/82535IVCQSPL04N/?qs=/ha2pyFadujqviMj2nUEO0%252bn4n1mY2MVpRA15DSWbuk%3d http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Intel/82535IVCQSPL04N/?qs=/ha2pyFadujqviMj2nUEO0%252bn4n1mY2MVpRA15DSWbuk%3d

(800)346-6873.

Ask if they can ship the camera to UAE. If they can, then order it from them and be sure to ask for the $99 special price. Mouser lists the camera for $149 but will honor the $99 price from Intel if asked. The part number is below.

Mouser Part # :

607-82535IVCQSPL04N

Manufacturer Part # :

82535IVCQSPL04N

Hope you find this information useful.

Regards,

-Yermi A.
