I've now run through three boot cycles trying to install the new gfx_win10_64_22.214.171.12471.zip graphics drivers to no avail. Couldn't return my NUC7i5BNH anymore - sadly. So I'm stuck with trying to reduce flicker.
It's failing during writing asterisks under "Installing Driver: Intel(R) Display Audio". A pop-up appears with the cool title 'Error' and message "The setup program failed to install one or more device drivers. Setup will exit."
I've tried installing the graphics driver only through device manager, but that ends with a windows error.
Other drivers are latest - latest BIOS as well.
Anyone else having this issue? I know we've been told the new graphics drivers don't help the flicker and wake-up, but yeah...
Update: After uninstalling the drivers and attempting to install 4664 I received the same error - and also a directory consistency error in Device Manager. After several restarts and attempts the solution turned out to be to run chkdsk, so run cmd as admin, chkdsk c: /x /f, reboot, and installing the drivers worked.
