1. Re: Euclid does not boot when connected to power plate adapter
MartyG Sep 8, 2017 10:48 AM (in response to s_dubois)There are Intel employees who visit this forum who are Euclid specialists, including members of its development team, and so they will be able to offer a more informed answer than I can. In the meantime though, since it sounds as though you are familiar with electronics, I will post a link to a diagram of the power adapter's pinout.

Sep 8, 2017 11:13 AM (in response to MartyG)This message was posted on behalf of Intel CorporationHello Sophie,
Thank you for your interest in the Intel® Euclid™ Development Kit.
The measured voltage is an expected value. Please keep in mind that sometimes it takes a few tries to get the Euclid to boot with the power pack on. So my suggestion would be to try multiple times in a row, holding down the power button for at least 3 seconds.
If the Euclid does not boot, please return it to Click. This should be done by sending an email to click.support@intel.com and requesting a replacement.
If you have any update or question, don’t hesitate to contact us.
Have a nice day.
Regards,

3. Re: Euclid does not boot when connected to power plate adapter
s_dubois Sep 11, 2017 1:07 AM (in response to Intel Corporation)Hi,
Thanks Andres and MartyG for your answers.
I did try to boot the Euclid a few times in a row, without success.
Can you tell if the problem is coming from the Euclid itself or from the power plate without having a look at my device (did you already have such a case ?) ?
If the problem could be solved by using another power plate, would it be possible to return only this part ?
Because for now I can still use it with the battery, and this would allow me to keep using the Euclid during the return process.

Sep 11, 2017 9:39 AM (in response to s_dubois)This message was posted on behalf of Intel CorporationHello Sophie,
Thank you for the update.
I understand your interest in using the Euclid during the replacement process, but the fact is that we can’t be sure if the issue you are experiencing is related to the power plate or the Euclid without looking at both components.
So I as I previously mentioned, please send an email to click.support@intel.com to request a replacement.
Have a nice day.
