The Intel Driver Update Utility is intended for Intel boards. Your board is ASUStek.
This is your (Bloomfield) processor: Intel® Core™ i7-920 Processor (8M Cache, 2.66 GHz, 4.80 GT/s Intel® QPI) Product Specifications
It is not supported on Windows 10: Intel® Processor Support for Microsoft Windows® 10
There is no chipset INF for Windows 10. Windows 10 has all the information it needs.
The good news is that you have an add-on NVIDIA GeForce GT 610. Just update your driver from nvidia for Windows 10.
Thanks. I get random and frequent freezes and crashes. Very frustrating. I'm going through a trial and error process to see what is causing it. I know drivers need to be up to date, so I am trying everything I can one at a time. I keep my Nvidia updated daily, but still get frequent freezes and the occasional crash. Seems to happen more frequently when I've been viewing YouTube or other videos.
Thanks for answering this question.
Well, like I said, your processor is not supported on W10. It does not mean that it should not work, however.
But, it is nine years old, and it is time to retire that old processor and board for something more current. You can salvage your video card as it is still useful (unless it is going bad). If you have access to another graphics card, you might try that just to be certain the card is still good.
